This is a fast digital painting of Captain Kirk of Enterprise NCC-1701.
This Fan Art is made in ArtRage 3.5 Studio with a Wacom Intuos 4L drawing tablet. I might improve on this digital painting later on to capture more likeness of William Shatner.

- Buffy The Vampire Slayer VS Klingon

Back at last with a real update. About a month has passed sense last time. This update is about meting and sharing good stories over a few drinks of Bloodwine..? Of corse not! In true Crossover spirit, I present you a great battle in my latest fanart drawing. I present you:
Buffy The Vampire Slayer VS Klingon!
I made a rough outline with Kirk and the Klingon attacking him on paper on a Train ride. The first Idea was that Kirk would reflect the bat’leth with his Phaser, but I abandoned the Idea as Kirk’s hands would cover most of the Phaser.
That means making it hard to draw, nearly invisible to the viewer and Kirk would probably hurt himself as he would not do a good job of blocking the bat’leth.
I remade the Phaser to a steel pipe temporary as I thought about what I could replace it with.
Maybe Kirk should have a bat’leth of his own? Hmm, no. It did not feel right. Then I thought about a recent Buffy drawing of mine that would never ever get to be good unless I erased It and begin anew. I really wanted to draw Buffy and her Scythe came to mind as the great weapon Kirk was lacking.
The rest Is history and here is my latest fanart drawing and first to Crossover characters from different universes, or what else to call it.
All of the drawing is made in the ArtRage drawing program with my Wacom tablet. Only the outline which this work is based on is drawn on paper and possibly not existent anymore.
I will not file it as finished as it could use some more work with Sarah Michelle Gellar/Buffy likeness (but still not to perfectly like SMG), lots of detail work on the Klingon mostly thanks to bad reference pictures early on (I still could use more detailed views of pants and boots), more details and anatomical work on them both, background and colors.
And about drawing a background, does anybody have a Idea for a setting and possibly reference pictures for a good background that would fit them both? Should Buffy find herself in the Star Trek version of future or should the Klingon make some time travel to the Buffyverse? Other or any Idea, just comment. 😀

Just an update on all the updates of Soldier Girl. This shows and will show all of the pictures. The First ones are somewhat crappy Digital Camera shots as I sometimes don’t want to scan a drawing while I work on it. As of now, I don’t know how much of or how many drawings I will show the process off and I won’t get much feedback right now from readers as this site is mostly a test site right now so I can get the feel of it. Even then, might take allot to get comments anyway. 🙂

Things that needs to be fixed are her arms and feet. And I should do something about her hair and the gun that I think looks like a blowdryer. After that comes the background.
Thats mosly it before I can add more detail and maybe color it.

No better name yet, a drawing I started today. Because I don’t have a tablet and I want lots of detail, I will add to it both in Paint.net and by hand on paper.
More about this later. 🙂
