  • Improved Flickerlight Remake
  • Posted on April 17, 2017
  • I have added more detail to the drawing. Here is more information from the previous post:

A remake of a drawing I made in 2008. The plan then was to quickly create a drawing I could make a big Poster of, which I did by rasterize it and printing it on like maybe 9 A4 sheets which I taped together on backside.

It was a cool idea so I decided to refresh the drawing to fit better in amongst what I draw nowadays. We’ll see if this gets customized for Poster size or not. I have not decided if it is completed now or not, but close to, anyway. Remade in Manga Studio with my Wacom Intuos 4L tablet.

Latest version made in Clip Studio Paint (former Manga Studio). Made with Wacom Ituos 4L tablet.

  • Stuff I’m working on 4 – New VS Old
  • Posted on December 13, 2015
  • In this forth Stuff I’m working on I have done remakes of sorts on old drawings. First old and then the new.

    Bloodrayne.

“Stay” – My version of a dark angel.

Dark Knight Batman and a shot in the head Joker.

  • Ms. Marvel – Heroic Pose
  • Posted on March 22, 2015
  • I found a old photo of a girl on the Internet with a pose I like. I decided Ms. Marvel (classic one) would be a good fit for the pose. Then I opened up DAZ Studio and tried to capture the pose, but the shoulder and hand positions got a bit different and the camera angle is a little bit different to (Ms. Marvel is a bit more towards the camera compared to the photo). Then I rendered it to a Image and used it as a reference for this drawing.

Manga Studio 5. First i sketched shapes and tried to come close to my render, then I started to add more and more details not caring about line work and positions that much. When I had most things done I made the sketch layer blue and added a vector layer on top and “sculpted” out the shapes for a good line work. Then flat colors and shading. I did not want to do a background, but neither white or black felt right so now she has nothing behind.

    ——

I don’t want to spend more energy and time on it right now, so I upload it as it is. I might add a background and change things, but I think it will be another version instead of just a improvement. I might update shading, light and very minor details on this one.

Fan-Art. Ms. Marvel is a Marvel Comics character.

Comments are welcome, also ideas of what a good background would be. Thanks for watching!

The first image is the remake with the Original under.

The Original is hand drawn and scanned. I thought I had a digital version that I cleaned up, but I can´t find it.

  • Girl Power
  • Posted on December 15, 2009
  • As a form of training I wanted to make a group drawing with Superheroes. I wanted to make one with characters I have created. I started out with a few girls in the middle. I thought about the composition and what I wanted to add. It hit me that a girls only drawing would look the best. So the project name was changed from Super People to Power Girls and finally to Girl Power. I think the name sounds kind of fun.

Characters in the drawing: Berry the Pirate Girl, Flicker Light, Water Girl (still working name only),  Bolt (working name), a new elf girl without a name and the one with wings above: Anqenyne (working name).

    As a Header

I have plans to use this drawing as a new header for the site. I plan to change the header as we go into the new year if all goes as planned. hopefully a better looking title for the site will come along with the new header image.

This is also the second post with art of four or more before the end of 2009 that is in my at least a post a week plan.
