Anna Paquin and her character Sookie Stackhouse was the biggest reason I watched True Blood together with Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman) and Stephen Moyer  (Bill Compton ). This Fan-Art of Sookie Stackhouse is my first real try to do True Blood Fan-Art. It’s drawn after a reference photograph I have found a long time ago. There are a few small differences between the photograph and this piece and they might get bigger before this is done.

This is drawn and colored in Clip Studio Paint with my old Wacom Intuos 4L drawing tablet and my computer setup. To be continued!

I have added more detail to the drawing. Here is more information from the previous post:

A remake of a drawing I made in 2008. The plan then was to quickly create a drawing I could make a big Poster of, which I did by rasterize it and printing it on like maybe 9 A4 sheets which I taped together on backside.

It was a cool idea so I decided to refresh the drawing to fit better in amongst what I draw nowadays. We’ll see if this gets customized for Poster size or not. I have not decided if it is completed now or not, but close to, anyway. Remade in Manga Studio with my Wacom Intuos 4L tablet.

Latest version made in Clip Studio Paint (former Manga Studio). Made with Wacom Ituos 4L tablet.

Time for a log awaited update on the Blog. This is the first part of my Speed Drawing series Come Here.

The Drawing is being made in Clip Studio Paint, captured with OBS Studio and edited in Shortcut. Art made by Tuulikk and music by Paradise Lost.

In this forth Stuff I’m working on I have done remakes of sorts on old drawings. First old and then the new.

Bloodrayne.

“Stay” – My version of a dark angel.

Dark Knight Batman and a shot in the head Joker.

Under the title “Stuff I’m working on” I will showcase Art in various state of progress. I may or may not write about the Art or how I’m working on it. If Art is developed further they will probably get their own posts further on anyway. If you have questions you can leave a comment or write to me on the feedback page. I hope this will help me post more Art more frequently and easier than before.

And now for the second batch of Art:

The last one is finally getting into perspective.

This will be my first image upload in a while on this site. I have had big problems with the site that apparently did not end when I did a complete new install except most important parts of the database and the images. I still could not show new images in the Blog. Apparently my gallery/image plug-in could not handle the size of image files that I’m working on even through it’s suppose to resize them after upload. No matter, I have had problems viewing and handling my large images on my tablet so I was thinking about making resized copies of all my Art on the computer. I looked for something that could handle resize images in bulk, or maybe I should say batch. I found IrfanView and it seams to work good and fast. So now I will have a lot smaller copies of my Art ready to upload with just a small bit of extra work.

And now to the Art:

The thought of this partly come from watching Agent Carter on Netflix. I think my girl with fedora is suppose to be a detective. It’s made in Manga Studio 5 and nearly finished, and yet finished for now.

I found a old photo of a girl on the Internet with a pose I like. I decided Ms. Marvel (classic one) would be a good fit for the pose. Then I opened up DAZ Studio and tried to capture the pose, but the shoulder and hand positions got a bit different and the camera angle is a little bit different to (Ms. Marvel is a bit more towards the camera compared to the photo). Then I rendered it to a Image and used it as a reference for this drawing.

Manga Studio 5. First i sketched shapes and tried to come close to my render, then I started to add more and more details not caring about line work and positions that much. When I had most things done I made the sketch layer blue and added a vector layer on top and “sculpted” out the shapes for a good line work. Then flat colors and shading. I did not want to do a background, but neither white or black felt right so now she has nothing behind.

——

I don’t want to spend more energy and time on it right now, so I upload it as it is. I might add a background and change things, but I think it will be another version instead of just a improvement. I might update shading, light and very minor details on this one.

Fan-Art. Ms. Marvel is a Marvel Comics character.

Comments are welcome, also ideas of what a good background would be. Thanks for watching!

I have for a long time wanted to make a few fantasy character drawings I could be happy with. Now I have one down. I might make some changes to this Sorceress image, but I think it is time to move on to something other and see if some cool things I have managed with this one can be repeated and maybe improved on.

This is the Sorceress. Line Art in vecors, flat colors in a layer, a shading layer, 3 layers for skin, other layers for other textures, 2 correction layers and other stuff. Made in Manga Studio 5 with Wacom Intuos 4L tablet. If I would add more details later, I would probably get some textures for the staff.

Click on images for larger size.

Next up a close up so you can see more details and the skin textures. I have used 3 layers of Airbrush to get the effect.

At last we have the Line Art version.

That’s it.

The first image is the remake with the Original under.

The Original is hand drawn and scanned. I thought I had a digital version that I cleaned up, but I can´t find it.
