Bild 1 — I think a bit of flat colors shows areas that needs more work, so maybe it ain't so bad coloring early.

Bild 2 — Line work. This is done in Manga Studio 5 with 1 point perspective tool active. I think making this drawing was more important than getting it right. The stairs looks a bit off to me.
